Las Vegas Strip - A Place for Fun and Enjoyment

Las Vegas Strip – A Place for Fun and Enjoyment

If you’re planning a trip to Las Vegas you have to go to Las Vegas Strip. This is the heart of the city, where all the good stuff happens. You will see people from all over the world, you will find all kinds of hotels, and attractions. You will also see how the people will dress from casual to formal. The strip is like a paradise where you can have fun without having to worry about anything.

Las Vegas Strip

It’s always hip to party on the Strip. It’s the electric spine of a legendary town that lives on chills, thrills and a perennial buzz. The Las Vegas Strip is somehow everything you expect it to be, but still manages to surprise. Hop on and enjoy the ride.

You’ll want to pick a home base – a place to store your suitcase and change into your party shoes. There are a variety of Las Vegas Strip hotels for every taste, theme and price point. And they’re all convenient to just about everything. On the Strip, location is everything. The Strip is everything. And each location is fantastic.

If you’re looking for elegance on the Las Vegas Strip, the choices are vast, but the fountains outside your window at the Bellagio make this Strip resort a favorite of Vegas regulars. And the fountains are just the start. Inside the lobby, you’ll check in under a Chihuly glass sculpture that defies imagination. Stroll through the botanical gardens while the bellhop delivers your luggage to your room. Then start your vacation with crepes at a spectacular three-story chocolate fountain.

Centrally located inside the recently built CityCenter, ARIA offers hip, modern sophistication. And the rooms are state-of-the-art, remembering your temperature, music and lighting preferences on each subsequent visit.

Head north for a quintessential Only Vegas experience at the Stratosphere, the largest tower west of the Mississippi. Drop your bags and head straight to the top for dining, thrill rides and a plunge right off the edge – safely strapped in, of course.

Recently remodeled, the Tropicana is classic Vegas. The bright colors, spectacular scenery and electric vibe deliver a true Vegas experience. It’s a must see for first-timers.

And, of course, no one does a theme like Las Vegas. The Venetian offers opulence throughout. While you’ll never forget you’re in Vegas, you’ll enjoy the touches that bring a little bit of Italy to the Strip.

You cannot go wrong booking a room in Las Vegas. But when you stay on the most famous boulevard in the world, you might have trouble finding the time to sleep in it. http://www.lasvegas.com/hotels/on-the-strip/

Some Background of Las Vegas Strip

The Las Vegas Strip is an approximately 4.2-mile (6.8 km) stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard South in Clark County, Nevada. Unknown to many travelers outside of Nevada, The Strip is not located within the City of Las Vegas but it passes through the unincorporated towns of Paradise and Winchester, which are south of the Las Vegas city limits. Most of the Strip has been designated an All-American Road, and is considered a scenic route at night. Many of the largest hotel, casino, and resort properties in the world are located on the Las Vegas Strip. Fifteen of the world’s 25 largest hotels by room count are on the Strip, with a total of over 62,000 rooms.

One of the most visible aspects of Las Vegas’ cityscape is its use of dramatic architecture. The modernization of hotels, casinos, restaurants, and residential high-rises on the Strip has established the city as one of the most popular destinations for tourists. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Las_Vegas_Strip

Here are some visitor reviews found in tripadvisor:

“Who doesn’t love the Lights!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013
We have been here several times, and always love the lights! Daytime is always nice to stroll the strip and take in the sights, but you better have some good walking shoes! The Strip is long both ways, and of course you can take the tram for $6.00 one way or $12.00 for 24 hours, but if you really want to experience the Strip then you need to walk it. There are a lot of walk-overs and escalators to help you out for crossing the street, if you go in the summer make sure you drink plenty of water. We have found the best time is very early summer and early fall, it’s not so sweltering hot. You are going to run into pan-handlers on almost every block, but if you just don’t acknowledge them you can walk on by with ease. Make sure you take in the volcano at the Mirage, the water show at the Bellagio and the pirate show at Treasure Island. After you have worn yourself out walking all day and evening, take the tram, it’s cheaper and faster than a taxi or the bus, and it’s not as crowded. Make sure you go down to the old town area on Freemont Street, they have free concerts through-out the summer and good ones at that! http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g45963-d126583-Reviews-The_Strip-Las_Vegas_Nevada.html

“The Lights at Night”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013
The best time to enjoy The Strip is at night when the lights and outdoor shows can really be seen. The crowds can get big and Las Vegas Blvd. full of traffic. Still you have to experience it. The distances between some of the resorts is larger than it may initially seem. The downside is the people pushing girlie cards at you (just push by them). http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g45963-d126583-Reviews-The_Strip-Las_Vegas_Nevada.html

“Nothing Quite Like The Vegas Strip!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013
People, it’s the Las Vegas Strip.
Put on your good shoes and WALK ALL OF IT.
Yes, you’re going to run into people handing out call-girl cards. Ignore them. Yes, you’ll see homeless people. Any city has them. You’re going to see just about everything on the strip- IT’S VEGAS! Walk it all! Check out the fountains, go in a casino, do some shopping! Don’t take public transport at first- WALK IT. SOAK IT ALL IN. Then, when you’re tired, take the Double Deuce or a cab back to where you want to go. Not sure where else to go? ASK someone who works in a casino! Sure, they just want your business, but they’re incredibly helpful and nice. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g45963-d126583-Reviews-The_Strip-Las_Vegas_Nevada.html

Whether you’re visiting Las Vegas for business purposes or just for fun, the Las Vegas Strip is a place you have to see and enjoy. The activities you can do there are endless, you can do anything and everything in there. Just take the time to enjoy every activity and you will not regret it.
